The design brief for the concept was a mid-century delivery robot which would replace mail carriers and delivery men in large metropolitan areas of the future which would consist of primarily tall skyscrapers. The design is based around a large magnetically powered turbine for lift and 2 smaller articulating turbines for maneuverability. The D-Bot is equipped with a dual camera visual system for navigation, an audio interface for accepting verbal interaction and an antenna array for communication and tracking. The D-Bot is also outfitted with 4 heavy duty fully articulating tentacle arms which also double as landing gear.
